Abstract: I will talk about the cohomology of small categories, introduced by Baues and Wirsching in 1985, and more recently discovered connections to a number of other cohomology theories of categories, of simplicial sets, of higher categories, and higher Segal spaces. This is joint work and work in progress with I Gálvez-Carrillo, F Neumann and S Paoli.
